I have been recovering and reflecting from my time in Austin, Texas, last month, for the annual SXSW Interactive gathering, which gets ever-more immersive, expansive, elaborate, and carnivalesque. There were certain themes—a deep concern and significant reflection on privacy issues, a desire to think through today’s obsession with “content,” a look at the future of storytelling and engagement in a connected media environment—that stood out for me while dodging swinging selfie sticks and sounded clear through the chatter about the latest platforms and devices.
If you’re interested in knowing more about what, Peppercomm—and I—were up to at SXSW, here are a few quick resources:
- A Twitter discussion preview of presentations from a few of us MIT alum who were presenting at SXSW, from Kate Hoagland at Slice of MIT.
- Our panel description.
- Gary Monk’s recap of our session.
- Additional resources.
More to come later this week!
